The Funtastic Story!

Once upon a time there was a lady named Yvette. Yvette had two children in elementary school and loved them so much that she joined the school's PAC.

One day the school needed money for a new playground. They asked Yvette if she could use her magic wand to make the money. Yvette said her wand could turn elephants pink but it couldn't make money, that's just silly!

A carnival might be a good place to make money, Yvette wondered. After all, everyone loves games, treats and prizes. Everyone together, sharing in the school spirit, how cool! So Yvette asked the school, "What do you think?"

"Oh no, that'll be hard to do. We haven't done one in 10 years.", someone remarked.

"It might be expensive!", exclaimed another.

Yvette knew that it was a good idea, but nobody had the time or energy to help her. So off to work she went... "If only my magic wand could just make money", Yvette whispered to herself.

Every carnival needs games. So Yvette spent hours and hours designing games. Making games sure isn't as fun as playing them she thought.

Next came prizes. Yvette wanted tons of prizes in many varieties and cheap. The problem is that only Fantasyland had those and it was such a long, long journey. So she went to countless stores nearby and spent a lot of her own money to get the best prizes she could find.

To make things really fun Yvette needed to find a bouncy castle. Everywhere she looked her choices were too small and expensive from uninsured or unreliable companies. She wanted a fun castle so much she ended up paying $450.00 to use one for three hours. "Oh goodness", sighed Yvette.

The place with bouncy castles didn't have the other things she needed, so next she had to go to a totally different company for machines to make cotton candy and popcorn.

Yvette was getting tired now, but there was SO much more left to do.

Next she had to make detailed instructions for the games, organize everything and write and mail letters to all the volunteers.

Soon the carnival day arrived and Yvette couldn't find her magic wand. "Oh no! Oh no!", she shouted. How am I going to bring all the games, prizes, machines and everything else to the school? She had to drive her car back and forth again and again so the kids wouldn't have to go home sad from a cancelled carnival.

Yvette was too tired and busy to play many games but the kids all had a wonderful time. What a mess they made though! Afterwards poor Yvette had to clean-up, pack-up and return all the stuff she had rented. Thank goodness the carnival raised lots of money though. Yvette could pay her big credit card bill and still had funds left to go towards the new playground.

The carnival was such a success and everyone had a blast. Even though Yvette had to work really hard the first time she continued do carnivals again and again. Now Yvette can do it so easily because she upgraded her magic wand to the Funtastic 3000.

Since it was such a tough job the first time, Yvette decided that other people might want to borrow her magic wand to make it easier. So Yvette started Funtastic Inflatables and will gladly help make smiles and raise money.
